Saying goodbye to Joan
For those of you familiar with our rescue you’ll probably have met our lovely volunteer Joan Stott.
Joan passed away recently, and I very much hope she’s found her way to the bridge to be reunited with her beloved hounds Tats and Fern.
We want to thank Joan from the bottom of our hearts for nearly 20yrs of service. Joan was devoted to the greyhounds who needed our help.
She was a regular face at kennels, adopted many hounds and persistently advocated for them at Meet and Greets.
She also did more home checks than we could count. Joan had a heart of gold and will be missed by hounds and volunteers alike… we couldn’t let her go without a mention. Our sincere condolences to her family at this difficult time
